Solo Creatives (Solo K) is a visionary record and publishing company born from legacy, love, and creativity. Inspired by the birth of Kairo. Zwide Nxumalo on August 25th, 2022, Solo Creatives was founded as a heartfelt gift from father to son—a future heir to a dream built on passion and purpose.
Formed by creatives and for creatives, the company was envisioned by founder Mpokophelo Msizi Nxumalo, a seasoned visual artist, DJ, and executive producer. Solo K is rooted in the powerful creative synergy once shared between Cairo’s parents—a fashion blogger and visual storyteller, and a multi-disciplinary creative.
This platform is more than a label—it’s a legacy in the making. With Msizi as the first signed DJ and executive producer under the label, Solo Creatives is a collaborative space for vocalists, lyricists, instrumentalists, and producers to create timeless music. Every step, investment, and project is made with the future in mind: to one day hand over a thriving, meaningful enterprise to Kairo.
